An MLM Trip To Nowhere! PAGE 8
I only wish Val could have been here to share this moment. I tried to raise her on the radio - "WWSN base - do you read me, Val?"
"I'm with you, SB one. Looks like you're making quite a mess over there. I've picked up a satellite image from our GPS uplink and I'd guess that Adam J. Gilmer Esq. has finally met his Match.com!"
"And I have a real hot date planned for him, too! But first I'd better take care of this Wellman & Warren attorney wannabe who's still coming after me with a sixty page legal complaint seeking a TRO."
"I've loaded my rocket launcher with a facsimile of the United States Constitution and used a yellow marker to highlight the First Amendment, just in case he isn't familiar the whole 'free speech' thing. Let's see how he reacts..."
"That's pretty much what I expected."
"Now all that's left is to clean this place up a bit. Let's start with that hideous impersonation of Dr. Evil, featuring the founder and president of travelogia, Adam J. Gilmer, Esq. One well placed rocket in the schnoz should do the trick."
"Nice shot!" Val radioed back. "Our sat-com images show the Travelogia.com base engulfed in flames. Their internet web site has vanished and the only thing still functioning at all is their crappy 'Boarding Pass' software."
"Have we figured out how they managed to recruit so many MLM top dogs into joining Travelogia? And what was the appeal for the hundreds of unsuspecting suckers who participated in this illegal recruitment commission scheme?"
"I'll show you the pyramid scheme hype when you return to base. But the numbers are so outrageous that even Phil Picolo would blush, if he actually had any moral compass at all.
Gilmer was suggesting that members could earn up to $14,110,194.00 per month, if they conned enough of their friends and relatives into coughing up $900 each to join."
"So the Boarding Pass software wasn't the problem any way - it was Adam Gilmer and his buddies that had to go," I replied.
"Were you able to capture Gilmer?" Val asked.
"Nope. He made a clean get-away. Fobair, Piccolo, Yarnell, Gilmer and all the rest are always the first ones in and the first ones out. And they'll be back! But the WWSN will be here waiting for them."
