Just then I saw Val exiting HQ and heading my way. Val had been a great addition to the WWSN team. She was smart, tough, independent, and easy on the eyes.
"Bob, I'm glad you're here - we've picked up something big on the radar! We're going to have to move fast."
As we entered HQ, I could hear the alarms that can only mean one thing - a new MLM scam!
Even from across the room, I could see the warning on the laptop monitor uplink to our 40 foot satellite dish receiver. Whatever this scam was, it was gonna be big!
Val explained, "The alert was activated sometime during the night."
"There has been a surge of activity on one of the islands and our sources say they have established some sort of base."
"Do we know who they are? What are they selling this time? Who do we think is involved? Jim Fobair? Mark Yarnell? Phil Piccolo?"
Val turned to her left as she looked at the 'MLM Hall of Shame' on the south wall.
"These were the worst criminal minds of network marketing. It could be any one of them. We're expecting more data to arrive any minute now," Val answered.
Sure enough, print outs and faxes began falling to the floor near the WWSN command and control center. Overhead, our primary communications monitor was downloading an image of the evil genius behind this new internet MLM pyramid scheme.
And as I suspected, it was a founding member of the 'MLM Hall of Shame' - Adam J. Gilmer, Esq.
