The Beachcombers met up with Monroe Wright and the Wright Choice at a special Timberwolves promotion in front of the popular Jukebox Saturday Night club on 5th Street in downtown Minneapolis. Monroe, Bill, and Guy had a great act with terrific vocals, authentic Motown style, and first-class choreography.

The two groups collaborated on a special theme show called "Motown Magic," performing on New Year's Eve at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs, a 4th of July celebration in Eden Prairie, Grand Old Day in St. Paul, a celebrity fundraiser for Metro Cable TV 6 at the Metropolitan, and numerous corporate parties and special events. The addition of the "Motown Magic!" show to the Beachcombers entertainment lineup reaffirmed their growing reputation as the most creative and versatile show group in the Midwest.
